James Patterson - Getting Closer to God's Voice 1985

James Patterson is an American author. He is a productive writer who writes many stand-alone thrillers, non-fiction and romance novels as well. His books have sold more than 300 million copies and he was the very first one to successfully sell 1 million e-books on a worldwide scale. In 2016, Patterson topped Forbes’s highest-paid authors for three years successively.

In November 2015, Patterson received the Literarian Award from the National Book Foundation, which titled him as a “passionate campaigner to make books and reading a national priority. A generous supporter of universities, teachers colleges, independent bookstores, school libraries, and college students, Patterson has donated millions of dollars in grants and scholarships with the purpose of encouraging Americans of all ages to read more books.”

曼哈頓學院（英文：Manhattan College）1853年成立的天主教文理學院，有文學院、理學院、工學院、教育與健康學院、商學院。該校最後來搬到布朗克斯。該校在《美國新聞與世界報導》（英語：U.S. News & World Report）的北方地區排名中Top 20。
