英國男團 The Wanted 成員腦瘤晚期　醫生宣布或只剩 3 個月 | Gimme Pop! 流行音樂

英國男團 The Wanted 成員，32 歲的 Tom Parker，公開自己六週前被告知確診腦瘤，而且因為是最嚴重的四期膠質母細胞瘤，無法進行手術。他感到震驚，正在接受化療和放射療法以延長壽命。

Tom Parker 與老婆在 IG 發表聯合聲明，表示在社群媒體上沉默了幾週，原因是被診斷出患有腦腫瘤，將會做一場專訪列出所有細節，讓大家知道事實。

他們都被徹底摧毀了，但將一直堅持下去。不想要大家的悲傷，只想要愛和積極，將共同提高大眾對這種可怕疾病的認識，並尋找所有可用的治療方案。這將是一場艱苦的戰鬥，但在每個人的愛與支持下，將會戰勝這場挑戰。

Hey guys, you know that we’ve both been quiet on social media for a few weeks and it’s time to tell you why. There’s no easy way to say this but I’ve sadly been diagnosed with a Brain Tumour and I’m already undergoing treatment. We decided, after a lot of thought, that rather than hiding away and trying to keep it a secret, we would do one interview where we could lay out all the details and let everyone know the facts in our own way. We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way. We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options. Tom Parker 和妻子已經結婚兩年，預計在 11 月生下第二個孩子，他們還有一個 1 歲的女兒。今年 8 月 Tom Parker 與家人到美國諾威奇旅行途中，他癲癇發作被緊急送往醫院。

因此在醫院做了全身的身體檢查，這才確診患有腦瘤，宣布的當下讓他非常震驚。醫生透露，四期膠質母細胞瘤，已經是腦瘤晚期，一般來說平均壽命只有 3 個月到 18 個月不等。

英國男團 The Wanted 於 2009 年成立，靠著熱門單曲〈Glad You Came〉被很多人認識關注，獲得告示牌 #3 的好成績，〈Chasing The Sun〉、〈I Found You〉、〈We Own The Night〉也是熱門單曲，總唱片銷量超過 1000 萬張，目前處於無限期休團狀態。

然而在今年年中，才傳出 The Wanted 有望重組回歸樂壇，官方社群甚至在荒廢多年後重新更換封面與頭像，這個動作讓粉絲非常驚喜，立刻登上推特熱門趨勢榜，沒想到如今成員 Tom Parker 發生了這樣的事情。
