吉室牛軋米餅中秋禮盒》原味與鹹蛋黃口味 | Taiwan Nugget Brown Rice Cracker

吉室商行將風靡全球的台灣牛軋餅升級為牛軋米餅, 不僅讓國外觀光客, 也讓國內消費者更能品嚐到台灣糙米, 甚至風味極佳而得了iTQi-國際風味獎(Superior Taste Award 風味絕佳獎章)。這次有這個榮幸可以品嚐到此品牌的原味與鹹蛋黃牛軋米餅.
JS Taiwan upgraded well-known Taiwanese Nugget Cracker into Nugget Brown Rice Cracker. They also won the iTQi- Superior Taste Award. This time, I have the opportunity to try their finished products, which include original flavor and salty egg yolk flavor.

JS Taiwan now has two moon festival gift box options
A. Yilan Green Onion and Salty Egg Yolk (Each has 8 pcs)
B. Original Flavor and Salty Egg Yolk (Each has 8 pcs)
From now to 2017/9/15, 2 gift boxes are NTD $720 (exclude shipping fee). After promotion time (2017/9/15), the customer can choose either one option for NTD$420/each.

橘紅色的中秋禮盒包裝上有著燙金色的月亮, 注意到月亮正中央有著“吉室”的LOGO, 一不經意會誤以為是“臺”的中文字, 月亮左邊有一隻淺色兔子圖案, 整體設計走的是低調奢華路線, 而非市面上的傳統喜餅主題設計的中秋禮盒.
Moon cake gift box is Hermes Orange-Red color. In the middle of the golden moon, there is JS’s logo. At the side, there is a rabbit picture symbolize Chinese Moon Festival. The design shows low-profile but yet luxury.

成份也跟市面上販售的牛軋餅大不相同, 糙米外層保留了被視為較健康的胚芽, 因此整體的方形餅顏色較深, 另外一項成份為綠蕉粉, Google後才發現原來綠蕉粉裡有名為“RS2抗解澱粉 (Resistant Starch= RS)“, 屬於低GI的食品原料.
The ingredients are different from the nugget cracker at the market. Besides the brown rice, there is also green banana powder. The web stated that the green banana powder contains low GI “Resistant Starch”.

中秋禮盒裡有2 種口味, 各有8片, 原味包裝LOGO則是褐色, 鹹蛋黃LOGO則是黃色, 撕開包裝發現大約一口酥的Size, 兩片米褐色米餅夾著乳白色內餡, 米餅的口感酥, 內餡品嚐起來不黏牙, 且完全不會跟市面上販售的一樣硬, 整體呈現最原始的風味, 也就是糙米的風味.
There are 2 flavors, and each flavor has 8 units. Logo on the original flavor package is brown. The size of the nugget brown rice cookie is bite size. There is creamy white filling In between two pieces of beige color cookie. The filling is not sticky nor hard.

原本以為內餡只有鹹蛋黃, 其實是內餡中加了少許鹹蛋黃, 因此卡洛里並不會破表, 但風味卻是加分許多.米色內餡有著中度濃郁的鹹蛋黃香味, 同樣不會黏牙, 若要原味或是鹹蛋黃口味擇一, 我會選擇鹹蛋黃風味.
I once thought that the filling has only salty egg yolk. But actually, there is only small amount of few salty egg yolk. Therefore, the calories would not be over the chart. The taste has fair amount of egg yolk flavor and not sticky. if I have to choose between two flavors, I would choose the salty egg yolk flavor.
