Traveling as a backpacker, it’s a big issue to find places to stay. There are variety kinds of hotels, hostels, B&B in Taiwan. Today I’m going to recommend a hotel in Banqiao, NTC. As a backpacker, Hotel Cube is really a nice hotel to stay.

Only 5 minutes way from Fuzhong MRT Station●, the Hotel is near Fuzhong Commercial District. Its life function is convenient. Only 10 minutes away by car from Banqiao Railway Station/THSR Station, Tucheng Interchange and other traffic junctions. The hotel is on Chongqing Road, you need to get across the intersection out of the MRT station and go along the road. I must say, this hotel really astonished me because it is adjacent to a temple! So sometimes you will smell the incense of the temple. I like that atmosphere because it makes me to ease and it’s quite unique.

The counter staff is really kind and helpful. The most unforgettable thing is not its decorations, but the travel information they provide. There are different language version of tourist information provided at the counter. It’s really nice for a first time traveler to Taiwan.

Each floor is decorated in various themes, including humanism, industry and science. Once you step out of the elevator, you can feel the rich ambiance of the theme. My room was arranged at second floor. It’s decorated as British style. The room is not quite big but it’s comfortable. There are not many supplements like water, tea and fridge are not supplied. But there is a water dispenser provided at first floor. Equipped with automatic air conditioning, the temperature is suitable. Though the room is small, there is an independent bathroom. The bathroom is clean and all the toiletries are offered. Hotel Cube provides the bed with pocket-spring mattress. It’s quite soft and comfortable which made me sleep well.

Overall, despite the space is not quite big, the room is very comfortable and soundproof. There are also travel information offered whether at the counter or in the room which I think is considerate. Besides the hotel, the life facilities near the hotel are also very convenient and it’s really near the MRT station. By the way, there are two bar(O two O Four Pub and Facebar) just only 5 minutes way from the hotel. Lin Family Mansion and Garden and Nanya night market are just 15 minutes way from the hotel, too. It’s really convenient and you won’t be boring while staying here.

There is not only single room be offered here, but also double room. Besides, the price of Hotel Cube is cheaper than other hotels in Taipei City. So whether you are a backpacker or traveling for two,and is worry about the place to stay in Taiwan, here give you a choice!
