這首 Lately 是 Noah Cyrus 最新單曲，也是她男友寫給她的一首情歌，Noah 說，有一天她男友跟她說，我寫了一首歌給妳，雖然沒有寫得很好，但是還是希望妳會喜歡，Noah 說當天她就整天待在飯店哪兒都不想去，聽了一整個晚上這首歌，直到最後，她問他說，你要不要跟我一起錄這首歌，我們一起發表，而有了現在的完整版本！有趣的是這首歌原名叫做 Fuck，可以看得出有遺傳姊姊的風格XD

Lately 的歌詞在寫的是感情間的距離拿捏，一對戀人對於彼此間的距離感覺有些太緊，而唱出，我知道或許是我給你太多壓力，或許是我抱得太緊，讓你沒了空間，因此我會好好學著尊重你，會好好學著找回心中的平靜，讓我們再為這段感情繼續努力！
