本集內容

最近比特幣正紅，我剛好收聽了NPR (美國全國公共廣播電台)有關經濟討論的podcast叫「THE INDICATOR FROM PLANET MONEY」，(更多的英文podcast介紹請參考10個不藏私的英文Podcast 推薦 (上)  和10個不藏私的英文Podcast 推薦 (下))。

有一集說到「Bitcoin - The Religion」，內容在討論比特幣為什麼那麼紅的原因，還找了有名的專家來討論這個話題，因為覺得觀點有趣，所以也來分享一下。

 

它的內容提到比特幣其實和宗教很像， 一開始「中本聰」建立了比特幣機制及發表白皮書後，他就消失不見，即使現在比特幣大漲，他也完全沒使用他電子錢包裡的比特幣，讓人覺得他彷彿是個「先知」，不為私利，只為這個世界帶來了好處後就離開，甚至比特幣也有自己的節日，例如比特幣每四年，數量就會減半，彷彿「安息日」，也有有名的「比特幣披薩日」，只是不知道當時用10000個比特幣買披蕯的工程師會不會後悔?

 

但是比特幣那麼紅的原因，主因是人們需要某樣東西去認同或信仰，藉由此種認同，人們的力量可以展現，特別是在經濟低迷的現在，人們對傳統貨幣失去了信心，去中心化而不受政府管制的電子貨幣自然就開始流行。

 

我聽完這集覺得這是個很特別的觀點，感覺好像又更理解了比特幣XD
