英文面試幾乎是每個高校在MBA申請面試中必不可少的一個環節，有的高校會要求考生做一個簡短的英文自我介紹(brief self-introduction),有的則是採取提問或者抽籤方式進行問答。今天先跟大家講講如何寫好英文的自我介紹。一般來說，個人面試時間在15分鐘左右，因此，自我介紹盡量控制在兩分鐘以內，在有限的時間裡儘可能多地展示自己的優勢，要做到言簡意賅、直切主題!

在寫MBA面試英文前對自己進行三輪自我拷問：

1.準備好紙和筆，第一次拷問自己：

我有哪些優點和優勢?

我有哪些背景和經歷?

可以發動朋友同事家人一起來想，所有可能想到的，一一寫在紙上。

2.總結完畢，再度拷問自己：

在這些優點和優勢中，我最大的優勢是什麼?

在這些背景和經歷中，我最與眾不同的地方是什麼?

3.結合上述兩輪的答案，第三次拷問自己：

我對目標院校有什麼利用價值?

我對目標院校有什麼利用價值?

行文中始終牢牢記住一個原則：時刻考慮面試官的需要：我為什麼要錄取你，而不是其他的人! 寫自我介紹的過程中，權衡行文主線中的兩個方面：目標院校要錄取我，是我需要得到來目標院校來深造?還是我也值得他們選擇我。

行文主要包含以下四部分內容：開頭語、個人背景、職業成就、為什麼讀MBA、職業規劃

一、 第一句話(first word)很關鍵，不用說的很複雜。可以是一個簡單句，但一定要鏗鏘有力。展示出自信和實力.常見的開頭有:1. Good morning! may I introduce myself ..2. I am glad to be here for this interview. First let me introduce myself.

二、作自我介紹——個人背景(making a self-introduction ——background)有很多學校要求做一個自我介紹，這一問題並非在請你大談你的個人歷史。考官是要在你的介紹中尋找有關你性格、資歷、志向和生活動力的線索。來判斷你是否適合讀MBA。你可以先介紹一下姓名、年齡，畢業學校以及工作崗位等內容。

三、作自我介紹——職業發展(making a self-introduction ——career development)這是很關鍵的一部分，也是MBA考官會重點考察的一部分。要把工作經歷和MBA的學習以及職業發展方向作為一個整體來談，讓老師感到你選擇MBA是一個理性的選擇而不是一時衝動，選擇MBA是職業發展中的一個必然選擇，而不是因為找不到工作。你可以用這些句型: 1、In the past years, I』ve worked at IBM as a software engineer. In my work, I found communication and management is very important. I always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning. So I choose MBA! if I am given a chance to study MBA in this famous University, I will stare no effort to master a good command of communication and management skill.(在過去的幾年中，我作為一個軟體工程師在IBM工作。在工作中，我發現交流和管理非常的重要。我一直認為一個人很容易落後，如果不持續學習的話，所以我選擇了MBA!如果我有機會在這個著名的大學學習MBA，我會不遺餘力的掌握溝通和管理的技能。)

這一部分剛好回應了為什麼選擇要讀MBA這個問題，也順帶闡明了自己後期的職業規劃。

最後，即使正式面試時考官沒有直接讓做英文自我介紹，提前做好準備，對於應付很多英文問答也是可以派上用場的，比如說：

Good morning! Nice to meet you here, professor. I am happy to be here and take this interview. I am XXX, 31 years old, a local citizen. I graduated from Chongqing Technology and Business University in 2004, majoring in financial investment. Within the period of my campus life, I studied hard and gained rich knowledge about my major. After that, I worked in xxx, a limited liability company, dealing with assets management work. My main job is to participate in the joint ventures and acquisition, establish new branches, and handle the subsidiaries』 assets effectively. From 2004-2008, I joined some large projects about acquisition and establishment of new subsidiaries. After 2008, I was transferred in xxx. But now, I was dispatched, by disciplinary commission, in xxx company, supervising their relocation work From last April, I have been studying in a MBA training institute where I make many friends from all walks of life.
