溫斯頓·丘吉爾（WinstonChurchill），20世紀最重要的政治領袖之一。在2002年，BBC舉行了一個名為「最偉大的100名英國人」的調查，結果丘吉爾排在第一位。他的畫作《查特韋爾莊園的金魚池》曾拍出180萬英鎊的高價。

被發明耽誤的畫家——薩繆爾·摩斯（Breese Morse）

薩繆爾·摩斯（Breese Morse）發明了電報，並在1837年在美國取得專利。摩斯與艾爾菲德·維爾合作發明出一套將字母及數字編碼撥發的方法，稱為摩斯電碼。著名的《羅浮宮畫廊》就是薩繆爾·摩斯的大作。

提姆·波頓（Timothy Walter Burton）是美國著名導演，《科學怪犬》、《蝙蝠俠》、《剪刀手愛德華》、《聖誕夜驚魂》都是他的代表作。他的插畫作品總是給他無限創作靈感。
