你有多謙卑，就有多高貴

現今這個時代，驕傲和自我中心似乎越來越被美化改寫成一種被大眾普遍接受的「自我價值」的特質，人們內心深處似乎越來越覺得自己強大到無所不能，沒有不能實現不能征服的。

然而，人們真的強大，真的無所不能嗎？在自然災害、經濟危機，精神困境面前，人們難道不是顯得那樣渺小和無力嗎？事實上，認識自己的有限，並心存謙卑，是一個人靈魂高貴的體現，聖經上也有許多上帝賜福謙卑之人的應許。

You hear, O LORD,

the desire of the afflicted;

you encourage them,

and you listen to their cry.

耶和華啊，謙卑人的心愿，

你早已知道；

你必預備他們的心，

也必側耳聽他們的祈求。

Good and upright is the LORD;

therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.

He guides the humble in what is right

and teaches them his way.

耶和華是良善正直的，

所以他必指示罪人走正路。

But the meek will inherit the land

and enjoy great peace.

但謙卑人必承受地土，

以豐盛的平安為樂。

For the LORD takes delight in his people;

he crowns the humble with salvation.

因為耶和華喜愛他的百姓，

他要用救恩當作謙卑人的妝飾。

[詩篇149：4]

From heaven you pronounced judgment,

and the land feared and was quiet，

when you, O God, rose up to judge,

to save all the afflicted of the land.

你從天上使人聽判斷。

神起來施行審判，

要救地上一切謙卑的人，

那時地就懼怕而靜默。

Humility and the fear of the LORD

bring wealth and honor and life.

敬畏耶和華心存謙卑，

就得富有、尊榮、生命為賞賜。

Before his downfall a man's heart is proud,

but humility comes before honor.

敗壞之先，人心驕傲；

尊榮以前，必有謙卑。

[箴言 18：12]

Therefore, whoever humbles himself

like this child is the greatest

in the kingdom of heaven.

所以，凡自己謙卑像這小孩子的，

他在天國里就是最大的。

Do nothing out of selfish

ambition or vain conceit,

but in humility consider others

better than yourselves.

凡事不可結黨，不可貪圖虛浮的榮耀，

只要存心謙卑，各人看別人比自己強。

[腓立比書 2：3]

He has showed you, O man, what is good.

And what does the LORD require of you?

To act justly and to love mercy

and to walk humbly with your God.

世人哪，耶和華已指示你何為善，

他向你所要的是什麼呢？

只要你行公義，好憐憫，

存謙卑的心，與你的神同行。

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,

for I am gentle and humble in heart,

and you will find rest for your souls.

我心裡柔和謙卑，

你們當負我的軛，學我的樣式，

這樣，你們心裡就必得享安息。

Young men, in the same way

be submissive to those who are older.

All of you, clothe yourselves with humility

toward one another, because,

"God opposes the proud

but gives grace to the humble."

你們年幼的，也要順服年長的。

就是你們眾人也都要以謙卑束腰，

彼此順服，

因為神阻擋驕傲的人，賜恩給謙卑的人。

[彼得前書 5：5]

我心裡柔和謙卑，

你們當負我的軛，學我的樣式，

這樣，你們心裡就必得享安息。
