Here is my travel schedule and review in Barcelona. I spent around two weeks from Taipei to Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, Salamanca, Cuenca, Valencia to Barcelona. No doubt, I love the Spanish way of life! The climate, Spanish diet, diversity, language and Spanish culture. Let’s find it out. Maitea Taberna Rate: ●●●●● Excellent food and terrific value. We visited here from google map recommendation. Just try some tapas or pinchos bar in Barcelona. It took us 10 minutes from El Corte Inglés by walk. The setting and decoration were pretty good, the staff were super kind and gentle, they also serve English menu, no worries on poor Spanish. In general, it was a wonderful experience in Barcelona! Anything you ate were damn good. Kind “LOCAL” restaurant you do not want to miss. Cerveceria Catalana Rate: ●●●●◐ People watching and Tapas So many yummy foods! Take a look inside, if you aren’t sure what’s on the menu, to get an idea of what you might like. Their fresh sardines are delightful. Kiwidestiny Apartments Rate: ●●●●◐ The location of Kiwidestiny is pretty good, right on Ave Diagonal. The decoration and setting of apartment were well to me! They have reception, ask the staff of everything. We stayed here for two nights, I was not satisfied with the wi-fi connection, not that stable, as a blogger, I need stable wi-fi connection LOL. BTW, do not drink the tap water without boiling for health issue. Sheraton Barcelona Rate: ●●● We stayed here for our last night in Spain! Not too crowded. Around 40-50 mins from airport to hotel by taxi (just get here by taxi if you are in a rush.) The shopping mall and supermarket are just on the cross of the street. Not bad in general. The room was well set, the wi-fi was stable. You could find El fornet cafeteria right next to Sheraton if you would like to have a cup of coffee. St. Josep La Boqueria Rate: ●●●●● St. Josep La Boqueria is a fun place for walking around and having some goodies when you are in Barcelona. If you love food (who doesn’t?), around 2 hours to this Mercat is a must. You could find only fresh, Spanish snacks, dessert, even tapas. Well, I have to say few of them were definitely overprices. Be careful LOL. Casa Mila & Starbucks Rate: ●●●●○ We stayed the Starbucks right in front of Casa mila! You could get good coffee and free wi-fi (ask staff for password) here. Of course, do not forget to visit Casa Mila first LOL. BuenasMigas Rate: ●●●●○ We stopped here for breakfast and ended up eating a lot because the food looked sooooo good! The sandwich, dessert were great. Super location (right next to Kiwidestiny apartment) to watch people around here. BTW, the homemade jam were damn good, also good choice for souvenir. ESTRUCH cafe Rate: ●●●●○ We stopped here because of pouring rain. Even thought, I have to say ESTRUCH has nice variety of food, menu with English, and right opposite of the Cathedral. With excellent location, reasonable price, super crowded. We had pizza and coffee, took a rest for a while. It worth. El Fornet Cafeteria Rate: ●●●○○ Good chains of cafe. We stopped here for brunch after we checked in Sheraton Barcelona. Not many choices for food here. My partner had apple pie, vegetable rolls and I had ham sandwich. In general, the food were good with reasonable prices. Service was so so, not clean enough as I thought at first. — 《Spain Travel Schedule》Foodie paradise 01 《Spain Travel Schedule》Foodie paradise 02 《Spain Travel Schedule》Foodie paradise 03 Cuenca 《Spain Travel Schedule》Foodie paradise 04 Valencia — 2017-01
