2018考研複習進行時，考研英語閱讀真題中的文章，多摘自英美主流外刊，有時候你認識所有單詞、搞清全部語法還不夠，還需要了解英美文化，掌握他們的表達方式，這就是閱讀的潛台詞。下面新東方在線考研整理《2018考研英語雙語閱讀精選》，速來學習吧！2017年全球創新指數排名上升3位China has moved up the list of the world's top 25 innovative economies, rising three notches from 25 to 22, with strong performance in several indicators, according to the latest Global Innovation Index (GII) released last week.上周發布的全球創新指數顯示，在多個指標上的表現強勁，在全球前25個創新經濟體中排名上升，從25位升至22位。全球創新指數(Global Innovation Index，GII)由世界知識產權組織、康奈爾大學以及英士國際商學院聯合發布，該指數自2007年起每年發布，現已成為首要的基準工具，為全球範圍內的企業高管、政策制定者等所使用。全球創新指數通過81項指標，對全球127個經濟體的創新能力和可衡量成果進行評估，指標體系的81項指標分為制度(institutions)、人力資本與研究(human capital and research)、基礎設施(infrastructure)、市場成熟度(market sophistication)、商業成熟度(business sophistication)、知識與技術產出(knowledge and technology outputs )、創意產出(creative outputs)等7大類。報告顯示，是唯一與發達國家經濟體創新差距不斷縮小的中等收入國家(the only middle-income economy edging closer to high-income economies in innovation)，已經成功躋身全球創新領導者行列。在7大類指標中，在制度、人力資本與研究、基礎設施、知識與技術產出、創意產出等5大類均有所提升。2016年以來，在科技創新方面取得了不少成績，比如，首個X射線太空望遠鏡的發射(the launch of its first X-ray space telescope)、世界首個量子計算機的研發(development of the world's first quantum computing machine)、國產C919客機首飛(the debut of its home-grown C919 passenger jet)以及可燃冰試采成功(successful sampling of combustible ice)等。創新是「十三五」規劃的核心，規劃提出，到2020年進入創新型國家行列(becoming an innovative nation)、2030年躋身創新型國家前列(becoming an international leader in innovation)、到2050年建成世界科技創新強國(becoming a world powerhouse of scientific and technological innovation)。
