【觀察者網 肖晟仕/編譯】最近掀起了一陣反雞湯風潮，比如「為了不淪落回萬達當太子爺，王思聰多努力地創業」，還有植入了毒雞湯的飲料瓶、以毒雞湯為賣點的「喪茶」等。其實，早在19世紀，就有一位毒雞湯達人，他就是愛爾蘭作家、詩人、劇作家，英國唯美主義藝術運動的倡導者奧斯卡·王爾德，他留下的毒雞湯語錄，至今聽來仍振聾發聵，下面就讓我們欣賞一下吧。 他這樣形容愛情與婚姻：1. When a love comes to an end, weaklings cry, efficient ones instantly find another love and wise already had one in reserve. 當愛情結束的時候，新手哭個不停，有經驗的馬上尋找下一個目標，老司機已經換好備胎上路了。 2. What is the chief cause of divorce? Marriage. 離婚的主要原因是什麼？結婚。 3. When one is in love, one always begins by deceiving one's self, and one always ends by deceiving others. That is what would calls a romance. 浪漫的定義：愛情由自我欺騙開始，以欺騙他人結束。 4. I like men who have a future and women who have a past. 我喜歡有前途的男人，以及有過去的女人。 5. Hatred is blind, as well as love. 恨是盲目的，愛也一樣。 6. The happiness of a married man depends on the people he has not married. 男人婚後的幸福，源自那些他沒娶到的人。 7. Men marry because they are tired; women because they are curious; both are disappointed. 男人結婚是因為累了；女人結婚是因為好奇；最終他們都會失望。 8. The advantage of the emotions is that they lead us astray, and the advantage of science is that it is not emotional. 情感的好處是讓人迷失，科學的好處是它與情感無關。 9. Women are never disarmed by compliments. The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. 世上只有一件事比遭人議論更糟糕，那就是沒人議論你。 12. Looking good and dressing well is a necessity. Having a purpose in life is not. 人必須把自己打扮得人模狗樣，至於有沒有生活目標沒那麼重要。 13. The heart was made to be broken. 心，就是用來碎的。 對於藝術，他有自己獨到的見解：1. No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did he would cease to be an artist. 偉大的藝術家向來看不到事物的本來面目。如果他看到了，就不再是藝術家了。 2. Life imitates art far more than art imitates Life. 藝術源於生活，但生活更源於藝術。 3. All bad poetry springs from genuine feeling. 用真情實感寫就的詩篇，都比較糟糕。 4. We Irish are too poetical to be poets; we are a nation of brilliant failures, but we are the greatest talkers since the Greeks. 我們愛爾蘭人太有詩意以致無法成為詩人；我們民族都是些才華洋溢的失敗者，自希臘人以來，空談屬我們第一。 5. A poet can survive everything but a misprint. 再潦倒的生活也壓不垮詩人，但印刷錯誤會要他的命。 6. I was working on the proof of one of my poems all morning, and took out a comma. In the afternoon I put it back again. 我在校對自己的詩時，花一整個上午刪掉了一個逗號，下午我又把它加回去了。 他不僅僅只是一位毒雞湯專家，偶爾也會洒洒雞湯：1. A true friend stabs you in the front. 真朋友才會當面戳你的痛處。 2. What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise. 看似痛苦的磨鍊，往往才是真正的祝福。 3. We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars. 我們都在活在陰溝里，但仍有人仰望星空。 4. Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot.
