「2017全國首屆兵棋推演大賽」賽況通報5月15日-報名截止 各分賽區陸續開展預賽工作5月18日，美國東部時間上午10時，美國國防部2017年實驗室日（Lab Day 2017）在五角大樓中心開幕。此次實驗室日展出了來自63家美國國防部實驗室、工程中心和作戰中心80多項技術創新。實驗室日被稱為美國軍方的科學大會，每兩年舉辦一次，今年為第二屆。美國國防部負責研究和工程的代理副部長Mary J. Miller在主持了幕式。參加開幕式的國防部高層還有目前行使採辦、技術和後勤副部長之職的James MacStravic以及負責研究與工程的助理部長辦公室中負責研究的Dale A.
