She wasn't born yesterday, you know. 我想她不會相信的。你知道，她不是那麼容易上當。 10.I've gotten carried away. 我扯太遠了get carried away字面上的意思是被帶走了，就是心思。當你或是他人說話的時候離了題，偏離主旨扯遠了。你就可以用上這個表達法I've / You've gotten carried away.11.mean mug someone 擺臭臉；給某人臉色例：I forgot to put my phone on silent, that』s why people were mean mugging me in the library just now. 我忘記把手機調成震動了，所以剛剛在圖書館裡面大家都對我擺臭臉。12.I can't/cannot even...我無語了美國人年輕人都喜歡簡短性地表達，像這個短語就不是個完整的句子。但這重點就在於，你是想表達：因為你已經無語了，所以連一句話都說不出來了。這就形成了這個句子只有前面部分。如果完整的句子的話，就是I cannot even speak only one word.來表達自己有多無奈。13.get your head around it 明白，搞清楚例：I just can』t get my head around the fact that Joe is leaving us.難以置信喬就要離開我們了。14.running on fumes 非常疲憊，就快熬不住了例：I』m sorry, but I』ve got to go home now.
