First off, if everybody takes public transport, there will be less traffic jams and people will not get stuck on the road forever. At the same time, taking public transport can reduce exhaust fume discharged into the air and reduce air pollution. Additionally, owning a car can be very costly since I have to pay gas money, insurance, and maintenance fees. Lastly, too many cars will take up so much valuable space, especially in the city, where land is so precious. It is far better to build more gardens, parks, city libraries than parking lots.
