Presentation既像演講,又不同於演講,同在於都需要良好的語言組織能力和表達溝通技巧,異在於,相比於演講的某些渲染效果,Presentation對於信息傳達的精準性和簡潔性要求更高,目的性更強,往往還會藉助PPT這一媒介。因此,不論是在課堂還是工作中,能做好一個英文Presentation的能力都極為重要。 繼上兩期內容之後,今天,英語君繼續大家介紹做Presentation內容方面的注意事項。 大多數的presentation包括三大塊和提問部分 在做presentation的過程中,「重複」是非常重要的,重複的黃金法則是Say what you are going to say...第一遍,說你將要說什麼say it...第二遍,正式開始說then say what you have just said.第三遍,重複剛剛說的內容 這就是傳說中的 重要的事說三遍。。。 換句話說,就是把同一個觀點在上述的三大板塊中都說一遍,即提出,介紹,總結。 下面,我們就這三大板塊具體介紹一下Introduction 引入部分 This is the first impression that your audience have of you. You should concentrate on getting your introduction right. 一般引入部分有四個目的:welcome your audience歡迎觀眾introduce your subject介紹主題outline the structure of your presentation列出提綱give instructions about questions對提問環節進行事先解說(如什麼時候可以提問) 以下是一些introduction部分的常用語 1. Welcoming your audienceGood morning, ladies and gentlemenGood morning, gentlemenGood afternoon, ladies and gentlemanGood afternoon, everybody 2. Introducing your subjectI am going to talk today about...The purpose of my presentation is to introduce our new range of... 3. Outlining your structureTo start with I'll describe the progress made this year. Then I'll mention some of the problems we've encountered and how we overcame them. After that I'll consider the possibilities for further growth next year. Finally, I'll summarize my presentation (before concluding with some recommendations). 4. Giving instructions about questionsDo feel free to interrupt me if you have any questions.I'll try to answer all of your questions after the presentation.I plan to keep some time for questions after the presentation.Body 主幹部分 The body should be well structured, divided up logically, with plenty of carefully spaced visuals. 主幹是真正的presentation,以下是一些注意事項: do not hurry不要慌張 be enthusiastic 熱情飽滿 give time on visuals 結合視覺輔助工具 maintain eye contact 眼神交流 modulate your voice 調節聲音 look friendly 友好 keep to your structure 遵循提綱 use your notes 藉助提詞 signpost throughout 使用指示性語句(上一講提過的哦) remain polite when dealing with difficult questions 遇到刁鑽問題保持禮貌Conclusion 總結部分 這一部分的作用是: Sum up 總結概括 (Give recommendations if appropriate) 給出合理的建議 Thank your audience 感謝 Invite questions 接受提問 以下是一些總結部分可能會用到的表達 1. summing upTo conclude,...In conclusion,...Now, to sum up...So let me summarize/recap what I've said.Finally, may I remind you of some of the main points we've considered. 2. Giving recommendationsIn conclusion, my recommendations are...I therefore suggest/propose/recommend the following strategy. 3. Thanking your audienceMany thanks for your attention.May I thank you all for being such an attentive audience. 4. Inviting questionsNow I'll try to answer any questions you may have.Can I answer any questions?Are there any questions?Do you have any questions?Are there any final questions?Questions 提問部分It may be helpful for you to try to predict what questions will be asked so that you can prepare your response in advance. You may wish to accept questions at any time during your presentation, or to keep a time for questions after your presentation. Normally, it's your decision, and you should make it clear during the introduction. Be polite with all questioners, even if they ask difficult questions. Sometimes you can reformulate a question. Or answer the question with another question. Or even ask for comment from the rest of the audience.可以事先準備一些問題的答案。你可以在presentation的任何一個過程中接受提問,但是應該事先向觀眾表達清楚。即使面對相對困難或刁鑽的問題,也要禮貌回應,你可以重新組織一個問題,把提問引到你熟悉的領域,也可以用其它問題的答案回答不同的問題。徵求一下台下觀眾的看法也是可行的。
