間接問句

直接問句及間接問句

直接問句(WH問句)=>

• 疑問詞(句首)+1.beB+S?

• 疑問詞(句首)+2.aux+S+VR?

(例1) Who is that tall girl?

間接問句=>

• 主要子句+疑問詞+主詞+be動詞

• 主要子句+疑問詞+主詞+一般動詞

• 主要子句+疑問詞+主詞+助動詞+原形動詞

(例1) I have no idea who that tall girl is.

*間接問句句尾的標點符號，以主要子句為準

間接問句的形成

(1)be動詞=>疑問詞(句中)+主詞+be動詞

(例1) What is this?

=> I don't know what this is.

(例2) Who is the girl (standing at the door)

Do you know who the girl (standing at the door) is?

*修飾主詞的分詞片語，必須跟著主詞移動到be動詞前

(例3) Where are you going with your mom?

Tell me where you are going with your mom.

(2)一般動詞=>疑問詞(句中)+主詞+一般動詞

(例1) Where does she live?

Let me know where she lives.

(3)助動詞=>疑問詞(句中)+主詞+助動詞(can, will...)+原形動詞

(例1) How can the little boy move the large box?

I wonder how the little boy can move the large box.

(4)疑問詞=>疑問詞(句中)+be動詞/一般動詞/助動詞

(例1) What happened to you?

Will you let me know what happened to you?

特別注意的間接問句

(1) 含do you think/ guess/ say/ imageine之間接問句

(例2)

What time will the class begin?

Do you say?

Do you say what time the class will begin?(X)

=>What time do you say the class will begin?(O)

It will begin at eight.

1.Do you know what the answer is?

=>Yes. I do./ No, Idon't.

2.What do you think the answer is?

=>I think the answer is A

(2) 名詞片語=>疑問詞+to V=>當S.O.C

(例2)

Do you know where to go?

Do you know who to ask?

Do you know how to do it?

Do you know what to do?

(例3) [Who to bell the cat] is a big problem.

(* [Who to bell the cat] 當主詞)

*擔當危險任務=>bell the cat

*名詞片語=>疑問詞+to V=>當主詞、補語、受詞

當補語

The problem is who to bell the cat.

當受詞

We don't know who to bell the cat.

不含疑問詞的問句(即Yes/No問句)之間接問句，必須用Whether/if(是否)引導

(例1) Will he buy the convertible?

=>I don't know whether/if he will buy the convertible.
