'不問，你將什麼都得不到』 | 打開Anna Sui 安娜蘇在倫敦的復古搖滾「衣櫥」

''Anna Sui is the classic American fashion designer. From Detroit to New York, her signature rock-n-roll romanticism reinvents pop culture for every new generation. Since her first catwalk show in1991, Sui has not only shaped the garments, textiles, accessories, beauty and interiors which comprise her design universe, but also the course of fashion history. The World of Anna Sui features over 100 looks from the designer』s archive, presenting a roll call of archetypes from Surfers and School Girls to Hippies, Mods and Punks. This is the first time an American designer has been the focus of a retrospective exhibition in the UK''.

安娜蘇，一個生於美國密西根州底特律的華裔時尚設計師。她的標誌性搖滾浪漫主義為新一代人重新詮釋了流行文化。自1991年她的第一次時裝秀以來，安娜蘇的設計不僅影響了時裝界，紡織業，飾品，美容和空間設計等行業，而且成為了時裝史的教科書。

這是第一次，美國的設計師在倫敦舉辦了一個針對性的回顧展：The World of Anna Sui.

"Anna Sui is one of the most important and influential American designers of the pasttwenty-five years," said Celia Joicey, head of the Fashion and TextileMuseum. "We are delighted to be the first museum in the UK to offer a US fashion designer a retrospective exhibition. Sui is an inspirational woman whose designs embrace the history of American pop culture and popular artmovements, and thereby offer a fascinating way to explore national identitythrough fashion and textiles".

Describing the mood of the exhibition as "optimistic, inspirational, fun, eclectic, celebratory", Sui is expecting the experience to be an emotional one, especially as her workhas never been displayed on such a large scale. Featuring over 100 head-to-toe ensembles spanning in time from outfits worn by the Nineties Supers in her firstcatwalk show in 1991, to her recent Wild West-themed spring/summer 2017collection, the exhibition will celebrate Sui's diverse reference points, herpre-occupation with print, and document her creative process.

因為這一次展覽有100多件作品，涵蓋了從90年代（包括她在1991年最早期的設計）到2017年最新一季的狂野西域風情collection，所以這不僅是一個慶功宴般的視覺盛宴，對於Anna來說，更是一場帶著豐富情感的回顧之旅。

當Anna四歲時，就知道自己想成為一名時裝設計師。

「As a kid, I would collect all the photographs and magazine tear-sheets and TV guidecovers of things that I love. All these things accumulated in my mind and became what I envisioned fashion to be.」

Anna說，「當我還是小孩時，我會收集很多喜歡的照片，例如雜誌的內頁或是電視節目指引的封面等等，這些東西都存在我的腦海里，成為了我展望未來時尚的一部分。」

然而在她十幾歲時，一篇有關Mia Fonssagrives-Solow的文章影響了她，她得知有兩個女孩從帕森斯學校畢業后就在巴黎開設了自己的時裝精品店，於是她毅然決然的去了帕森斯學校，也因此開啟了她的時尚之門。

在帕金森設計學院里，她也認識了著名的美國攝影師Steven Meisel，他現在是時尚界最為成功的攝影師之一，長期與義大利和美國Vogue雜誌合作。因為時尚，他們成為了最好的朋友和合作夥伴。在這次的展覽中，也出現了很多Steven為Anna Sui拍攝的作品。

Anna『s Archetypes

"The red floor, the purple walls, the black lacquered furniture, the Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe is my favourite fairytale and I loved the idea to emerge through this wardrobe into my world," smiled Sui.

Anna說她最喜歡的童話是《獅子，女巫和衣櫥》，裡面有紅色的地板，紫色的牆和黑色油漆的傢具，她把童話里的衣櫥變成了一個真正屬於她自己的世界。這次展覽也彷彿從現實走進了一個衣櫥里。真是一個把童話活生生變成現實的例子。。

「我總是喜歡製造一個完整的空間」， Anna說。受Aubrey Beardsley作品的影響，她開始收集藤條和維多利亞時期的傢具，並把他們都刷成了黑色。而又把自己位於紐約的第一間公寓客廳的牆和窗戶全刷成了閃亮的紅色，卧室的牆也刷成了黑色。牆上掛著的是Anna Sui在1992年開設的第一家精品店，位於紐約的Sohu區。

可以看的出來，她的店就是她的家的縮影，或者反過來說也是成立的。

縱觀此次展覽她的所有作品的特性都可以一分為二：明亮 vs 黑暗，單純 vs 世故，甜美 vs 個性。展出的十個主題分別為：Fairytale, Nomad, Victorian, Mod,Punk, Grunge, Androgyny, Americana, Surfer and Schoolgirl.

Anna對於復古，紫色以及蝴蝶元素的著迷各處體現在了飾品的細節上。比起整個Look，其實飾品更有亮點。

Anna的首飾系列，像個極具個性，敢愛敢恨的少女，骨子裡的叛逆不言而喻。頭飾和鞋子系列則可以滿足你所有的公主夢，蘿莉夢，傲嬌夢。。其中薔薇花的設計誘拐了多少無知少女，哦不，是吸引。。整個展覽都瀰漫著經典的許願精靈香氛。

在展覽上有一個視頻，CCTV美國頻道對她做了一個採訪。據Anna自述，當年在AnnaSui創始初期，像每個剛創業的人們一樣Anna也曾經歷過一段糾結的時期，沒有足夠的自信把品牌做起來，直到有一次參加活動，麥當娜走到她面前，把大衣一脫，對她說：Anna，我穿著你的衣服呢。這時的Anna大吃一驚，她說：直到那時我才覺得，也許我可以的，我可以把AnnaSui做好。後來，慢慢的越來越多名人都開始穿著 Anna Sui， 而她也開始接到大腕 Mick Jagger，Cher等的電話。

那麼，為什麼Anna Sui的第一個展覽在倫敦而不是紐約呢？當Vogue採訪Anna時，她回答："don't ask, don't get"。Anna繼續解釋道，「當時我正在參觀一個 Thea Porter 的展，後來我一個人在禮品店閑逛的時候，館長Celia走了進來，然後我們倆開始聊天並且相約喝咖啡。在聊天結束前，Celia問了句，Anna你想辦一個展覽嗎？她是第一個這麼問我的人。」

也許是機緣巧合，

也是是蓄謀已久，

但這個故事告訴我們，

想做一件事一定要付之於行動
