簽證官在看到申請者時的內心活動：

1、這是個很優秀的學生嗎？他的目的真的只是去留學嗎？我曾遇到有學生提供假的錄取書，或者隱藏他去留學的真實目的。簽證官會很注意看學生的I-20，畢業證書，看是否有作假痕迹。

2、你是否能承擔學費生活費？有些學生會有全額獎學金，也有學生要自己支付學費。所以簽證官會詳細審查你的資金來源是否可靠真實。

3、你去美國真的只是學習嗎？你會想在美國工作嗎？（這裡的工作指的不是畢業后實習，也不是讀書期間做兼職）

要知道，簽證官在給出學生簽證時是希望你畢業后回國的。但這一點很難向簽證官證明，你可以說說你學成回國的計劃，你的職業規劃，你為什麼去美國讀書，你在美國的學業如何規劃，畢業后怎麼打算。要注意不要說得千篇一律，要有自己的理由及規劃。

一個學生應該還很難知道自己未來會怎麼樣，所以凡是說得太絕對的學生也會讓簽證官感到遲疑。但你最起碼要有一個簡單的目標，並且這個目標要符合國情，你在更容易實現它。

如果你要學的學科對沒有用，那你猜我們會怎麼想？但如果你能夠說服我們你的專業會在未來被社會需要，那我們也會考慮這個可能性的。

4、你在的狀況如何？你的家庭怎麼樣？父母的工作是什麼？他們是否就職於政府，教育，商業等領域呢？你畢業后回國他們能幫助你找工作嗎？

簽證官也會很關注你的經濟狀況。如果你父母可以承擔你留美的費用，並且在國內發展的很好，那我們也會相信未來你會回國。但如果你家沒有錢，你要申請美國的助學貸款，那就很難讓我們相信你畢業後會回國了。

在這些問題里沒有一點會讓我們立刻決定要不要發給一個人簽證，簽證官會綜合考慮的你的回答，然後再給出決定。

5、如果簽證官給你拒簽，那你要注意他拒簽的理由。比如如果他說「我不確定你的資金是否足夠」，這樣的話你第二次申請就多提供經濟方面的信息。如果他說「我不知道你是否會回」，那你就要重新考慮一下你的規劃，並盡量添加新信息，使它更明確。如果你第二次面簽的回答和第一次差不多，那你可能還會被拒簽。
