一個歷經16年的南法國際影像盛典-法國普羅旺斯國際攝影節
從2000年至今，每年10月在法國普羅旺斯大區的省會城市-艾克斯·普羅旺斯市都會舉辦以視覺交錯（regards croisés）為主題的國際攝影節。
攝影節組委會每年會甄選1個國家或地區的5位優秀當代攝影師，通過他們的藝術影像作品尋找與之匹配、吻合的法國優秀攝影師。邀請到埃克斯.普羅旺斯市，進行為期一個月的作品對話展及一系列藝術文化展覽活動。
16年來，法國普羅旺斯國際攝影節倡導的視覺交錯國際攝影展促進了法國與多國，多地區影像藝術家之間在當代、觀念攝影領域的交流。每一年一個主題國家，每一年10位優秀攝影師，攝影節組委會會針對每個提交攝影師的作品進行嚴格的考核評審。源於此，普羅旺斯國際攝影節才打造出了形式多樣，作品嚴謹的南法國際攝影盛典。
2017年，由普羅旺斯國際攝影節的主辦方之一的法國暗泉藝術攝影協會聯手歐洲藝術影像協會，將邀請5位攝影師到普羅旺斯，分別與5位法國攝影師進行「視覺交錯」對話展及系列活動（為期15-20天）。並把2017參展國資格指定為，2017年為年。
除了10位參展攝影師的主題展覽以外，法國普羅旺斯國際攝影節還設置了33個展覽活動分會場。分別邀請國際級攝影師參加藝術影像展，藝術影像交流活動，整個國際攝影節遍布在普羅旺斯各個角落。
