博而勵畫廊成立於2005年，前身是Universal Studios-Beijing，之後更名為博而勵畫廊。自2012年起Waling Boers成為畫廊唯一的所有者並獨自負責運營管理，2016年當代藝術資深收藏專家賈偉女士，作為合伙人加入博而勵畫廊。空間位於798藝術區的中心地段，面積約400平方米，分為上下兩層。

博而勵畫廊具有國際專業運營理念，代理眾多不局限於某種特定創作媒介，且出生於不同年代的藝術家，其中特別關注活躍於1970，80年代的一批「85前的非官方藝術家」。

博而勵畫廊每年大約舉辦10個展覽，重視扶植創新型與實驗性的藝術創作，同時大力支持策展研究及藝術出版。

BOERS-LI GALLERY was founded in 2005 as Universal Studio-Beijing. Since 2012, the operational management is executed as Waling Boers becomes the sole owner of the gallery. In January 2016, Jia Wei – an expert on Chinese contemporary art and collectors, joins the gallery as partner. The exhibition space is located in the center of Beijing』s 798 Art Zone that occupies around 400 sqm, divided over two floors.

BOERS-LI GALLERY represents sub-sequential generations of internationally operating Chinese artists working in different media. Special interest is focused on the generation of 「pre 85 – unofficial」 artists in the 70s and 80s.

BOERS-LI GALLERY organizes approximately ten exhibitions annually, emphasizing on the development of the production of new and experimental work, as well as supporting the curatorial research and art publishing.

荷蘭人，自1981年起開始從事自由策展及藝術評論工作。1981至1984年擔任阿姆斯特丹市立博物館（Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam）策展人，1997至2007年創立柏林非盈利藝術空間BüroFriedrich並擔任總監，2005年至今為北京博而勵畫廊聯合創始人。他有著豐富的藝術展覽及專題研討會策劃經驗，曾擔任雜誌主編並參與出版工作，曾為多國的藝術雜誌、出版物、展覽導覽撰文，也曾在荷蘭、德國、的藝術大學和研究所授課和開展講座。他曾受邀擔任眾多國際性文化機構的顧問委員會成員，其中包括荷蘭文化部、德國和柏林的政府機構。曾參與策劃荷蘭、德國、多個公共藝術項目。

賈偉最初是英國紅樓基金會的首席代表，負責協助建立其藏品，通過不同方式支持藝術。從2009年到2015年，北京保利拍賣行榮登拍賣行榜首、躋身世界拍賣行前三，賈偉從中起到了重要的作用。在整個職業生涯中，她一直以開拓藝術領域，發展新市場、維護日益壯大的收藏群體為主要目標，鍥而不捨，孜孜以求。
