第一句：長江是亞洲最長、世界第三長的河流。第一句是一個系表結構的簡單句，其中亞洲最長和世界第三長可以用as well as 來並列，第二次提及河流時可用one替代，避免重複，更加符合英文的表達習慣

其中「被用於」可以使用大家熟知的「be used for」但要注意這句的時態，「幾千年以來」，用現在完成時

For thousands of years, the river has been used for water supply, transportation and indusrtrial production.

第七句：長江上還坐落著世界最大的水電站。

本句是個主謂結構的簡單句，其中長江上是地點狀語，可將along the river放置句首，形成全部倒裝結構

Along the Yangtze River lies the world 's largest hydropower station.
