剛果（金）再報告埃博拉疫情：世衛組織不建議旅遊限制

在剛果（金）政府向世衛組織通報該國北部鄰近中非共和國地區發生埃博拉疫情后，世衛組織一直在與該國政府保持聯繫。 世衛組織官員正在與剛果（金）政府、衛生官員及合作夥伴共同展開快速有效應對，以撲滅埃博拉疫情。

疫情發生在剛果（金）下韋萊省利卡蒂區，距首都1400公里。截至目前，共報告了11例疑似病例，其中３人死亡。

目前正在進行大量調查和風險評估，結果將於隨後發布。世衛組織根據目前掌握的信息，尚未對剛果（金）提出旅遊和貿易限制。

世衛組織已向現場派出技術專家。2017年5月10日，根據新的「世衛組織應急規劃」框架，已向該地區排出一支由剛果（金）衛生部牽頭、世衛組織及合作夥伴支持的多學科團隊，進行深入的現場調查。疫區位於偏遠、不易到達的北部地區，交通和通信網路有限，這些都妨礙了疫情信息的傳送。從金沙薩前往疫區目前需要2-3天的時間。

目前已啟動「全球疫情預警和響應網路」（GOARN），在必要時提供更多的支持，同時正在加強流行病學監測、接觸者追蹤、病例管理和社區宣傳工作。

這是自1976 年剛果（金）發現埃博拉疫情以來發生的第八起埃博拉疫情。2014年11月，根據世衛組織的建議，剛果（金）衛生部和世衛組織宣布2014年8月開始的埃博拉病疫情結束。

WHO has been engaging with national authorities in DR Congo following notification by the government of an outbreak of Ebola virus disease in the northern part of the country, bordering on Central African Republic. WHO officials are working with national authorities, health officials and partners to mount a rapid and effective response to stop the ongoing Ebola outbreak.

The outbreak is in Likati health zone, Bas Uele Province, around 1400 kilometers from the capital. To date, 11 suspected cases including 3 deaths have been reported.

Extensive investigation and risk assessments are being conducted and the findings will be communicated accordingly. WHO does not recommend any restriction of travel and trade to DRC based on the currently available information.

WHO has already mobilized technical experts on the ground. On 10 May 2017, a multidisciplinary team led by the DRC Ministry of Health (MoH) and supported by WHO, under the new WHO Emergency Programme, and partners, was deployed to area to conduct an in-depth field investigation. The area is situated in the remote, isolated and hard-to-reach northern part of the country, with limited transport and communication networks - factors that all impeded transmission of information about the suspected outbreak. Currently it takes about 2-3 days to reach the epicenter from Kinshasa.

The Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN) has been activated to provide additional support if required. Reinforcement of epidemiological surveillance, contact tracing, case management, and community engagement are under way.

This is the eighth outbreak of Ebola virus disease since its discovery in 1976 in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In November 2014, in line with WHO recommendations, the Ministry of Health of DRC and WHO declared the end of the Ebola Virus disease outbreak that started in August 2014.
