中國故事｜賈代騰飛攝影作品：《守護三沙那片藍》

「西沙、南沙和中沙，三沙自古我的家。爺爺在這採珠貝，爸爸在這捕魚蝦……」2012年7月24日，海南省三沙市成立。作為地理位置最南、海域面積最大、陸地面積最小、人口最少的地級市，這片藍色國土，承載著國人逐夢浩瀚南海的冀願。作者先後登上了三沙市政府駐地永興島，以及趙述島、北島、南沙洲等島礁，用鏡頭講述漁民們守護祖輩留下的這片藍的故事。

「The Xisha, Nansha and Zhongsha island groups have been my homeland since ancient times. Here my grandfather searches for pearls and shells, and my father catches fish and shrimp…」 On July 24, 2012, Sansha City was officially established in Hainan Province. As China』s southernmost prefecture-level city, it boasts the largest sea area as well as the smallest land area and population, and carries Chinese people』s hope to realize their dreams in the vast South China Sea. The photographer has landed on Sansha』s government seat Woody Island, Tree Island, North Island, South Sand and other islands with his camera, to tell the stories that how fishermen have protected this blue land handed down from their forefathers.

三沙的海，五光十色，瑰麗無比，像碧海藍天下的一串寶石項鏈。

The multicolored sea in Sansha is magnificent beyond comparison, like a gem necklace above the vast ocean against the blue sky.

北島是西沙群島綠海龜上岸產卵點之一。通常，綠海龜會選擇深夜上岸。

The North Island is one of the sites on Paracel Islands where green turtles would lay eggs ashore. Frequently, they come ashore late at night.

綠海龜產卵整個過程，通常會持續兩到三個小時，每窩平均會產七八十枚蛋。

The whole process of egg-laying usually lasts for two to three hours, averaging seventy to eighty eggs per clutch.

漁民符永波是海龜保護站的工作人員之一，每天他都會到海邊巡邏，發現有新的產蛋痕迹，就會在一旁插上一塊木牌，木牌上標註有產卵的編號和時間。

As one of the staff members of the Turtle Protection Station, the fisherman Fu Yongbo patrols the beach every day. Once there are new egg-laying traces, he will stick a wooden sign beside them, marking the number and time of egg-laying.

海歸保護站的工作人員，根據這個標牌就能大致知曉小海龜的孵化時間。

With this wooden sign, the staff of the Station can roughly learn about the incubation time of little turtles.

綠海龜產完蛋后，返回大海。

The green turtle returns to the sea soon after it has laid its eggs.

就在海龜產蛋的沙灘不到50米遠的地方，一窩小海龜破殼而出。

On the beach where the turtle laid eggs less than 50 meters away, a clutch of small turtles break free of their shells.

今年63歲的黃宏波（右），是北島海龜保護站的負責人。

Huang Hongbo (right), currently 63 years old, is the head of the North Island Turtle Protection Station.

漁民說，紅風黃雨。當海上的天空變紅變紫時，意味著颱風即將來臨。世代相傳

的經驗，就是海上的天氣預報。

Fishermen often say that red wind indicates yellow rain. When the sky above the sea turns red or purple, it means that a typhoon is coming. The experience of generations is the marine weather forecast.

早在明清時期，海南漁民就以文字或口頭相傳的方式，記錄南海航行路線知識，並收錄在《更路簿》中。

Early in the Ming and Qing dynasties, there were records of navigation routes in the South China Sea by Hainan fishermen in written or oral forms, which were also included in Genglubu, a navigation guide of the South China Sea.

漁民符名文和符明崗兄弟倆，在礁盤之間的海溝里下網捕魚。

The two brothers, fishermen Fu Mingwen and Fu Minggang, are casting fishing nets in the trench between the reefs.

七連嶼附近的大面積珊瑚礁，是珍貴魚蝦貝類絕佳的棲息場所，特別是海參、鮑魚、龍蝦、紅石斑等海洋珍品。

The vast reef areas near Qilianyu are great habitats for precious fish and shellfish, especially such rare seafood as sea cucumber, abalone, lobster and dungat grouper.

由於捕獲量有限，經濟收入不高，三沙漁民們的發展之路，也越來越窄。

Due to the limited catches and low income, Sansha fishermen are seeing their development path increasingly narrow.

兩個漁民的小孩在海邊嬉戲遊玩，等待家人出海歸來。

Two children of the fishermen are playing on the beach, waiting for their families who are fishing out on the sea.

由於過去三沙的島礁上沒有學校，漁民的孩子只能回潭門、文昌等老家接受教育，寒暑假再上島看望父母。

There were no schools on islands in Sansha in the past, so the children of fishermen had to receive education in their hometowns such as Tanmen County or Wenchang City of Hainan Province, and return to the islands to reunite with their parents during summer and winter vacations.

三沙的漁民大多是祖輩父輩從海南潭門逐海到此，除了過年會回老家祭祖團聚，他們大部分時間都生活在島上，像剪頭髮這種小事，也得「自學成才」，互相幫忙。

Most of the fishermen in Sansha come from Tanmen County of Hainan Province following their parents and grandparents. They would spend much of their time on the islands, and return to their ancestral villages only for the Spring Festival. For such small matters as hair-cutting, they have to learn it by themselves and then help each other with it.

昔日的西沙洲只是遍布白沙和珊瑚碎石的不毛之地，颱風和海浪侵蝕，破壞著島礁的地理和自然環境。

The West Sand in the past was arid with white sand and coral reef rubbles everywhere. Typhoons and sea waves have damaged the geographical and natural environments of the island.

趙述島漁民梁昌健，是最早一批到西沙洲植樹的。由於缺土少水，最初漁民們只能靠漁船把淡水拖上岸。

A fisherman called Liang Changjian on the Tree Island is one of the earliest migrants to plant trees in the West Sand. Due to the lack of rich soil and water, they had to ship over fresh water with their fishing boats.

現在西沙洲建起了海水淡化、雨水搜集等一系列設備，還有專人負責看管樹苗，綠地面積不斷擴大。

Now the West Sand has been equipped with many facilities for desalination and rainwater collection. Besides, there are dedicated people responsible for taking care of saplings, so the green areas continue to expand.

西沙洲綠化工程實施以來，綠色面積不斷擴大，為每一位上岸者提供蔭涼。

Since the implementation of landscape engineering in the West Sand, the green areas have been expanding to provide shade for everyone ashore.

漁民的房子由木板和油氈布搭建，為他們遮風避雨。現在三沙市在漁民聚居的島上修建新的定居點，改善居住條件。

Fishermen』s houses made of wooden planks and linoleum were built for their shelter. While now in the Sansha City, new settlements are being built on islands for fishermen to improve their living conditions.

趙述島上漁民傳統的油氈房和正在建設的新居對比鮮明。

On the Tree Island, the traditional linoleum houses stand in stark contrast to new settlements under construction.

趙述島七連嶼工委門前的廣場，是漁民們跳舞的好地方，祖國最南端的舞步，跳起來別有一番風味。

On the Tree Island, the square in front of the Qilianyu Management Committee is a good place for fishermen to dance. The dance on the China』s southernmost tip showcases different feelings.

在保護島礁生態的努力下，七色海水美不勝收。無論三沙人的生產、生活方式怎樣轉變，他們世世代代守護這片純凈海域的初心不會改變。

Thanks to the efforts for ecological conservation of the islands and reefs, this colorful sea appears to be extremely beautiful now. For people in Sansha, their mind of protecting the pure waters for generations will never change, despite the changes in their ways of production and life.
