世衛組織基本藥物目錄已更新

近日，世衛組織更新基本藥物目錄，將抗生素分為三類以確保其對症使用。這一做法為各國提供了預防抗生素耐藥性的重要工具，抗生素耐藥性對我們今後提供有效治療的能力構成威脅。

新的調整還包括好幾種新葯，比如治療癌症的藥物，乙肝新葯，一種能預防高危人群感染艾滋病的更有效的舊藥，以及結核病藥物的新兒科配方。新的建議鼓勵擴大對基本藥物的獲取途徑，以更好地治療嚴重疾病，並確保在2030年之前終結丙肝、艾滋病和結核病。

WHO updates Essential Medicines List with new advice on use of antibiotics, and adds medicines for hepatitis C, HIV, tuberculosis and cancer

WHO』s update of the Essential List of Medicine ensures that the right antibiotic is used for the right infection by classifying them into three categories. Such guidance is a vital tool for countries to prevent the increase of drug resistance that threatens our ability to provide effective health care in the future.

The new update also includes several new drugs, such as cancer treatments, a new pill for hepatitis C, a more effective treatment for HIV as well as an older drug that can be taken to prevent HIV infection in people at high risk, and new paediatric formulations of medicines for tuberculosis. The new advice encourages access to medicine to better treat serious medical conditions and to end hepatitis C, HIV and Tuberculosis by 2030.
