China's Oil-Products Inventories Fell in May

Commercial supplies of refined-oil products in China fell 4.3% in May, according a report published by the state-run Xinhua news agency; it didn't include what total volume was.

But it does say stockpiles of diesel and kerosene dropped 8.7% and 2.4%, respectively, while gasoline inventory edged up 0.4% from April. Output for all 3 fuel types rose last

month, and the drop in diesel supplies was likely driven by higher domestic demand in the agricultural sector as well as higher exports.
