徠卡奧斯卡·巴納克攝影獎的前世今生

徠卡的品牌代表著一種獨特的視覺文化。1976年，第一個徠卡畫廊於在韋茨拉爾（Wetzlar）成立，該畫廊目前位於徠卡公司總部。為了與世界各地的人們分享高品質攝影作品，幾十年來，徠卡先後在洛杉磯、東京、維也納等16個城市創建了徠卡畫廊，為攝影師提供了更寬廣的展示機會。今後將會有更多的徠卡畫廊在世界各地開設。

2016年徠卡在EMOP Berlin 歐洲攝影月（European Month of Photography）展覽LOBA的入圍作品, 並第一次在PARIS PHOTO展示徠卡奧斯卡·巴納克獎和徠卡新人獎的獲獎作品。今年4月6日至6月11日，2017年度的LOBA入圍作品在徠卡總部的韋茨拉爾畫廊展出。

LFI雜誌

2011年至今徠卡每年出版一本140多頁的LOBA印刷雜誌LFI，對LOBA和LOBA新人獎的獲獎者、決賽入圍者及其作品進行詳細的報道。 這本高質量的出版物通過豐富的文字內容和訪談，展現了一個優秀當代攝影的萬花筒。LFI雜誌提供英語和德語兩個版本。

獎項的評委人選直接決定了最終的評選結果。每年，LOBA都會邀請除徠卡畫廊藝術總監外的藝術機構負責人加入評審團隊。如2016年紐約光圈基金會執行董事Chris Boot、義大利都靈的義大利攝影中心董事Lorenza Bravetta，2017年Photographic Center Northwest執行理事Michelle Dunn Marsh、F11攝影博物館創始人及總監Douglas So（香港）。
