Best ENGLISH Songs of All Time From the Best Female Singers
會認識Sara Bareilles ，是因為大約幾年前blog的讀者留言推薦了她這位創作歌手，非常感激。如果旅行時手機裡的歌曲，必然會有Avril Lavigne及Sara Bareilles，她是少數我能夠重複倒帶聽同一首歌的歌手！從認識她以後，經常會想推薦給身邊的人們。

▲這首歌的故事：她喜歡上一個人，對方的存在就像地心引力或是重力加速度那樣的東西，讓她完全無法沒有抵抗能力，會想逃離，卻無法掙脫這個情感。對方只要釋放出一點點關心或觸碰，她便無法招架。認真覺得真的非常喜歡一個人的話，是無法執行欲擒故縱這些所謂的心理技巧。只有還不夠喜歡，才可以玩心地計算心理策略。當一個人，真正動了感情完全喜歡對方的時候，只有沉淪服從的能力了。她想靠近，甚至可能不安或焦躁，會無法從容無法絕對的理性。

美國創作歌手Kate Voegele（凱特·芙格麗）抒情搖滾英文歌曲推薦
美國創作歌手，Kate Voegele，她和Avirl Lavigne 及Sara Bareilles 三位並稱我最愛最欣賞的三位創作女歌手。Kate Voegele來自美國俄亥俄州海灣村，擅長吉他，也彈鋼琴。她於2006年10月簽約加入MySpace的唱片公司，旋即創作並錄製了第一張專輯。嗓音具有穿透性和渲染力。2004年獲得自由最佳女歌謠歌手及現場最佳新藝人的獎項認可。贏得流行類的2005年美國作曲大賽，是迄今為止獲此殊榮的最年輕的歌手。
身兼女歌手與女演員，她的外表被質疑過是否具有亞洲血統，但她在專訪中表示 :”People always ask me what my background is. It is English, French, Irish, Scottish, Italian and German. People always think I am Hawaiian or part Asian, but no, it is just European stuff.”
2004年參加了農場援助音樂會。2005年2月出版個人專輯。單曲“Only Fool Myself”成為CBS的電視劇（Clubhouse）插曲。Kate巡演的樂隊成員有Patrick O’Donnell（鼓手），MarkTobilk（貝斯手和薩克斯風）和Andrew Sorenson（鍵盤），而Kate的老爸Will Voegele負責演奏電吉他。
