[1] 畢業於普林斯頓大學，學科是：英國文學。因在電視劇《越獄風雲》獲得了2005年金球獎最佳電視劇男主角獎提名。在驚悚片《慾謀》（Stoker）中，首次以電影編劇的腳色參與製作。近期他花了八年時間撰寫電影《慾謀》的劇本，劇本翻拍電影前曾被好萊塢的製片票選為當年”黑名單”(The Black Lise)的最佳劇本前五名，為了避免電影遭轉移焦點，還刻意使用筆名泰德福爾克（Ted Foulke）列名《慾謀》的幕後人員名單。電影《慾謀》由奧斯卡影后妮可基嫚、蜜雅娃思柯思卡與馬修古德主演，導演是曾以《原罪犯》一片獲坎城影展評審團大獎的韓國導演朴贊郁（박찬욱）負責。
